Context

Founded in 2017 and based in São Paulo, Brazil, is the education technology division of UOL. The company employs approximately 850 people. In recognition of its contributions to educational technology, UOL EdTech was honored with the iBest 2023 Award in the "Edutech" category, affirming its position as a leading company in Brazil's education sector.

They serve a diverse clientele, including:

  • Corporate Training: Providing training and people management solutions to over 1,400 companies, reaching more than 2 million employees.

  • Higher Education: Partnering with universities to offer over 220 undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA courses, benefiting more than 130,000 students through their Online Program Management (OPM) projects.

  • Student Learning Platforms: Operating Passei Direto, Brazil's largest study network, with over 46 million registered users and 16 million teaching materials.

Challenge

The main challenge that UOL EdTech’s clients face is effectively upskilling and reskilling their workforce to keep pace with rapid technological advancements and market changes.
